Hi, I am Inna!

I come to photography with an artist’s mindset. I studied visual arts at an art school in Ukraine and continued with courses in oil painting and advanced drawing in London. Before I was a photographer, I was — and still am — an artist. Photography is simply the medium that allows me to observe, connect, and create with immediacy.

For years, I worked with landscapes and street scenes. Portraits weren’t part of the plan — they came into my life almost by accident. But they stayed. What I do now is best described as urban environmental portraiture: people captured in public spaces, natural light, and real context. I rarely work in studios. I prefer streets, parks, staircases, doorways — spaces where personality and place can meet.

My approach is collaborative. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all setups. I take time to understand each person I work with — their interests, energy, and rhythm. I’m especially drawn to creative people, particularly those working in the arts.

I’ve been based in London since 2022, after living in Ukraine and the US. I work across Europe and remain flexible for travel.

Outside of individual portrait sessions, I offer professional headshots for work-related use, and occasionally photograph families, children, christenings, or couples. I don’t shoot weddings, parties, or commercial campaigns — I prefer slower, more personal projects.
